How it Works

ECOHEAT uses solar collector panels to deliver fresh warm air into a building during winter months and cool night air during summer months.

In winter the warm air raises the internal temperature and thermal mass of the building by up to 10 degrees celsius a day.

During summer months the system reduces a building’s internal temperature and thermal mass by delivering cool air into the building at night.

The system is controlled by a specially designed thermostat that switches a fan on or off depending on selected temperature settings.

The system utilises around 70 watts to run and on a sunny day outputs up to 6 kilowatts per hour depending upon the time of year, orientation and cloud cover. Think about that, the sun has generated 50 times more energy than used, free!

Every hour of operation delivers approximately  240M3 of fresh air into the building which is equivalent to the air volume of a 3 car garage.

An ECOHEAT system is a ventilation system and not an air conditioner.
