It is my pleasure to recommend Ecoheat Solar Air Heaters.   I live in Cooma where we can have some very cold days, and not just in winter. I have had one of these units in my home for the last few years, and I can honestly say that the unit has meant that the edge has definitely been taken off the cold that otherwise would have got into the house.   The presence of the unit has kept the daytime temperature in the house at around the 18-20^o mark.  This means that when the usual overnight heating switches on,  in the late afternoon,  the existing temperature is not really low so that the amount of energy put into heating at that time is much less than it might have been.

I can also recommend Mr Ron Knight for his after sales consultations.

I have to say too that the cat loves that warm area under the vent.

It has been a little over three months since Ron installed our solar heater in Melba, ACT.

I just wanted to record our satisfaction with both the system and Ron's outstanding service at the time of installation.  The system is working very well and has enabled us to turn off the gas heating for hours during the day when it might otherwise have been on. At this time of the  year, we are not using the gas except at night as it catches the morning sun and comes on quite early.

We purchased your Ecoheat Solar Space Heater in May of 2002 and wish to advise that we love the system and it has worked brilliantly from day one.

The system has saved us about 30% on our heating bill this year compared to last.  We have found that it works extremely well in the autumn and spring periods eliminating the need to light the fire until the winter really hits and stopping much earlier than in the past.  We particularly like how the warm air circulates through the house during the day keeping out the cold and eliminating stale air and reducing build-up of mildew.

Since it's installation we have only had to put the wood fire on twice during the winter days,  resulting in starting the fire only in the early mornings and evenings.  In prior years we have had the need to come home in the winter months in our lunch hour and restart the fire.

Also, we have found the system most useful during the hot summer period when we were able to circulate cool night air into the house,  alleviating the hot still nights.

In short, we are extremely pleased with the system and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I have had an Ecoheat system fitting to my new home 3 years ago, (living in the Snowy mountains) and have found it very warming and economical.  It warms the house through the day and then does not take long to warm up the house in the evening, when the temperature drops.

We have lived in our house on the Gold Coast for the past 19 years.

The temperature inside the house has always been very pleasant during the summer months. However, during winter it has generally been unpleasant as the house becomes too cold for comfort inside.

The house is a large, 2-storey, very open place. Consequently it has been difficult to warm the place to a comfortable temperature at any time of the day or night during the winter months.

But things have changed this year…an Ecoheat system was installed!

Instead of the house temperature staying at 12 – 14 degrees celcius inside, on a sunny day (quite typical on the Gold Coast), the temperature throughout the house now generally rises to 19 – 20 degrees celcius. We are no longer reluctant to be inside our house on a typical winter’s day!

If any supplementary heating is needed at night time, it doesn’t take very long to warm up a room as the ambient temperature in the whole house is already higher.

The Ecoheat system has made a significant difference to living in our home.

I have installed an Ecoheat system in my house on the Glades in Robina. 

It is just an amazing experience for us.  After the installation we live in so much more comfort with a temperature 5 or 6 degrees higher than without any heating. I especially enjoy experiencing the freshness of air now within our house. There is no operating noise compared to our existing  recycle air conditiong system that makes a very loud noise. We save a lot on our electricity bill as well.

I am very happy with the Ecoheat system,  it is of great value to us and without hesitation I recommend it to anyone.

My solar system from ecoheat is the cheapest, most reliable, and most effective solution I have ever come across.  The system's ability to pump in free hot air during the day in winter, and then, by the touch of a button, pump in free cool night air in summer, is the answer I was looking for.  I thoroughly recommend the system for any climate.

We're in chilly Canberra, and the Ecoheat team advised us on a three-panel system to heat our huge Scout Hall.  We've since been able to attract more tenants, and we even have babies and young children's groups using the hall now, as it is much easier to get it comfortably warm enough for them.   Our building is brick, so that acts as a thermal mass which is warmed (or in summer, cooled) by the Ecoheat system.  This sure cuts down on our heating (and cooling) bills, as the Ecoheat system keeps our building as warm as it can in the winter, and we top up with the electric heater when we need to.  One chilly overcast morning, the Ecoheat system brought us up from 6 to 16 Celcius all by itself!  Nice one, folks!

I installed an ecoheat system at the end of summer in my house in North Tamborine, Queensland.  I have to tell you that I am extremely pleased with the entire system, both for summer and the increasing cooler weather.  I installed the system before I started renovating, and the most amazing side effect of using the overnight cooling system was that it actually removed the renovation dust before the morning.  Plaster dust, sanding, carpentry dust are all taken car of, and the only real cleaning I need to do is to wipe off the insect screens every morning.  The air is beautifully fresh and people visiting the site are surprised at how little they can smell the renovations.  I would strongly advise anyone considering installing this system and renovating to install before starting any interior building.  The other excellent effect of the system is the lack of mildew in the house.  When we first moved in January, the humid weather left everything damp to the touch, with mildew forming in cupboards at the back of the house.  Since installing the system there has been no feeling of dampness at all in the house, even during the very wet period a couple of months ago.  I would highly recommend this system not only for its very economical heating and cooling system, but also because the quality of the air in the house feels so much cleaner and healthier, even during this difficult renovation.  Thank you very much for your excellent service, and I will certainly be telling everyone I know about how good it is.

We have lived in our house for 5 1/2 years and have always had difficulty in warming the house as it is stone construction, large, built in 1841 and consequently was not configured to be north facing, and relies mostly on fire places (6 in the house with 3 in operation almost all the time in winter season).  The walls are half a metre thick throughout.

We found that if the house was unheated for a couple of days, it became a challenge to heat and required lots of firewood.  We also would need column heaters in bedrooms 24 hours per day.

Since ecoheat was installed, we have experienced a more even temperature, the need for far less fires and an improved level of comfort that hasn't previously been experienced in this house.  We find now,  that evening times,  if we put on a fire, the room is instantly warm.  The warmth that we experience during the day supplies constant fresh air, providing a very healthy atmosphere.

I would highly recommend the heating system to anyone looking to improve their comfort level and standard of living as well as reducing their electricity bill and carbon footprint.  Ron Knight has a solid reputation and has been a pleasure to do business with.
